You can use quick oats instead of rolled oats in this recipe. Avoid steel cut oats since they are denser and require much longer to cook.

Along with an air fryer, you will need oven-safe ramekins and a blender or food processor. A 2-cup ramekin gives the most even results, though a 1-cup ramekin can work with a slightly longer cooking time. Keep in mind that air fryers vary, so adjust the time as needed.

🥣 How to Make Air Fryer Oatmeal

Lightly mist a 2-cup ramekin with cooking spray. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekin.

Air fry at 300F (150C) for 13–15 minutes, checking at the 8-minute mark. If using a 1-cup ramekin, allow up to 20 minutes. Remove carefully, then add your favorite toppings.

Most baked oatmeal freezes well if left plain, though it may be softer once defrosted compared to when freshly made.

    1. Thank you! Btw, I loved your pesto lunch post (the orange zest was a brilliant addition). Unfortunately, I think I am still getting blocked as a spammer on your site 🙁

  1. Aw, thanks. Yes, it is a bit like a coffee cake! I think somewhere between a hummingbird cake and a coffee cake is where this one sits.

Oh my goodness, I am so ready to move beyond this current nonsense! I’ve got some really simple dishes coming up in the next few weeks that take fewer ingredients than this one (considering shopping can be challenging right now). I’m looking forward to returning to my leisurely shopping days. I know it’s going to be a while.

  2. Out of my head, Summer. Go on, shoo!

How else do you anticipate what I plan to bake in a few months, once current nonsense ends?

Of course, yours is without added sugar, and it takes on a wonderfully novel format, so double credit for that. Plus it has delicious coffee cake elements too, making it far too tempting an option even to consider skipping breakfast. Sublime.

I’m not copying you, OK? Or maybe I am. Who knows? I’d be fool not to. Anyway, just want to get that on the record!
