I’m going to come clean- I really don’t like wasting food. If I buy the food, I don’t want it to end up in the trash. As a result, I’ve come up with lots of creative ways to prevent food waste.
Aside from reviving leftovers and preserving fresh foods, you can also use food scraps to their fullest. One of my favorite ways to make something out of nothing is to make bone broth. Save money on expensive bone broth from the health food store and put that chicken carcass to good use!
You can also use veggie peelings and some other veggie scraps to make vegetable broth. Radish leaves or an overabundance of fresh sage can be used to make a delicious pesto.
