
I’m going to be honest—I really don’t like wasting food. If I buy it, I want to make sure it gets used, not tossed out. That’s why I’ve come up with plenty of creative ways to minimize food waste.
Beyond reviving leftovers and preserving fresh foods, you can get the most out of food scraps too. One of my favorite tricks is making bone broth. Instead of buying expensive broth, repurpose that chicken carcass and put it to good use!
You can also use veggie peelings and other vegetable scraps to make vegetable broth, or turn radish leaves and excess fresh sage into a tasty pesto.
